I completed my BSc Banking and Finance in the University of London and graduated first class with honours. My study interest is reflected in my grade point. I believe my study results show that I am a suitable candidate for demands set at your prestigious institution. I have a standing First-Class grade with respect to Corporate Finance, Accounting and in Mathematics and Financial Intermediation I have an Upper Second. My core study interests with respect to financial studies or corporate finance management studies. I hope to run my own business in future and I would lie to learn corporate finance and financial reporting. In addition, I am looking to gain exposure on transnational laws with respect to business dealings and the form of financial regulations, treaties and more exist between countries that can have an impact on corporate finance. It is of personal interest to me, as in undertaking my own business in the future; I would very well be focused on how to position it in the global sector.
In addition to academic skills, I have gained practical experience from internships with different prominent organizations. I worked that cash and derivative clearing risk management department in my summer internship at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. I was responsible for development VBA applications. In this internship, I learned to perform benchmark margin calculations on post launch of new products, and was responsible for intraday margin call monitoring. I consider both the most highly responsible works I had undertaken so far as the work in question was critical to the company development at that time. In the past, my internship with KPMG, the strategic partner of Challenge in HK and the Hong Kong Joint School Association opened up much understanding with respect to how my future financial studies could interlink with my personal interests. In my work with KPMG, I was with the audit department and with the Strategic Partner of Technology Challenge HK I as with their organizational committee. I was also the founder of the Hong Kong Joint School Association of Students Union and as such was involved with financial management, such as sponsorship management, negotiating for discounts for student members and liaising with the designated staff committee for financial discussions.
