The energy always plays an important role as a major driver of growth and development of society. The demand for renewable energy is increasingly growing over the years in all across the world as the stocks of non-renewable energy such as natural gas and fossil oil stocks are decreasing with the time. In this context, the entire developed and developing countries are providing a strong emphasis on producing renewable energy to meet the ever-increasing demand for the energy.

Besides this, one of the big reasons to advocate renewable energy is its less impact on the environment. Most of the renewable energy such as hydroelectricity, wind electricity, solar powers, etc. has a considerably small environmental impact. Among the entire renewal energy, the solar energy is the most important source of renewal energy. In this matter, it must be remembered that sun is the source of all energy. In addition to this, the power of sun energy is abundant in approximately all the countries across the globe (Chaabane et al., 2013). In this particular context, the importance of the solar photovoltaic energy or PV energy is rapidly growing in the renewable energy world. In order to manage successful energy extraction from a solar PV system, the efficiency of solar PV energy production and conversion from the devices to the grid integration plays an important role. This empirical research study is to assess the effectiveness of solar photovoltaic technology and solar heating system.
