Furthermore the credit corporations need to understand that cost is not the only problem when mortgage has to be selected by the customers (Fisher, 2010). The referrals influence level over the first time and low income home purchasers suggest that finding a broker that helps in delivering dimensions such as efficiency are considered as essential by the customers. It is not apparent that the range till which recent home purchasers have evaluated the referrals for determining how well the recommended lenders fit requirements and whether they have awareness of the interest of referring parties within the transaction when they make this evaluation. This is out of scope to this study and therefore future research should be initiated on this.
Even though mortgage brokers became an essential player within the mortgage lending process over the past 20 years, lesser research has been done focusing particularly over mortgage brokers. This study looked at investigating the customer service provided by mortgage brokers of Cheng Gong Credit Cooperation along with analysing the loan product services offered by these mortgage brokers from different credit companies. The research is of the conclusion that customer service efficiency and effectiveness can only be gained within the mortgage sector when mortgage brokers are highly skilled and properly trained (Green et al, 2005). It is clear from this research that most of the mortgage brokers do not undergo a proper training process and some do not have any knowledge about their current obligations and ethical best practices to be applied while taking to the customers.
This is of utmost requirement. A rising rate of foreclosure and recent additional within the subprime market have together called for enhanced regulations on every mortgage process aspect inclusive of mortgage brokers duties and responsibilities (Host et al, 2004). The present challenges that the housing market and certain home owners have faced point towards the weakness of customer information quality and needed disclosures by mortgage brokers. With regard to the information provided by mortgage brokers, communication takes place in a formal process rather than focusing on informal means of communication that can actually offer better support to the customers.
