The different models of research developed by interns are intended for obtaining a vantage point view of the domain of operations of a mortgage broker. Secondary data collection like documentation helps interns in finding explanations for various contradictory theories in the domain of mortgage brokering.
The continuous interactive sessions with supervisors enhance the approach of interns towards the issues. In this case the evaluation of customer service by mortgage brokers and the quality of customer information provided by brokers are the major issues to be evaluated. Interns involved in the process have to understand the reasons behind various meetings between managers and mortgage brokers arranged by them. This process helps the interns in knowing about the details of the profession rather than engaging in theoretical descriptions of the role of mortgage brokers. Supervisors are generally qualified personnel who are appointed for training and guiding interns in the various research activities carried out by the organization. Interns can learn the greater details of the various processes of research from the supervisors owing to the professional experience of supervisors (Clapper, 2014). Weekly interactions facilitate interns with sufficient time for consideration of available options and then frame a suitable methodology for the research. Personal growth of interns in this process is reflected in the intellectual expertise earned by the interns.
