The terrorists use bombs, suicidal bombing attacks and other ways of targeting individuals. This way, they are capable of impacting the economies in a negative manner. One of such incidents of terrorism was an incident of September 11, 2001 when there was a suicide terrorist attack in the Twin Towers. The Islamic extremist group Al Qaeda hijacked for airliners and they planned an attack on the Twin Towers. There were 19 terrorists in that group (AlBattat, Mat Som & Abukhalifeh, 2014). On further investigation, it was revealed that out of those four aeroplanes the two were flown in the World Trade Centre and the third had hit the Pentagon outside Washington D.C., while the last one crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. This attack led to huge and massive destruction and deaths. There were so many US initiatives undertaken to deal with terrorism and under the presidency of George W Bush 400 fire-fighters and police officers were sent. In these attacks, more than 3000 individuals were killed in both New York and Washington DC (Reddick, 2010). This happened in the morning and this playing was full of 20,000 gallons of jet fuel with a hit on 18th floor of 110 storeyed building. This way, the hijackers were capable off instantly killing and trapping thousands of individuals. In the process of evacuating the tower, there was a huge chaos created with massive explosion and many more deaths.
