In various aspects, the nation of Australia is still working on development of identify and global profile. It is evident that the culture and arts have been integral part of the nation for over thousands years before the colonization period. It has been only 100 years since the notion is considered necessarily to possess a cultural identity in order to ensure that all forms of art are defined and signified as Australian or at the minimum received credit of Australian origin and contributes to the national cultural profile on the global stage (Throsby, 2010). The governments in various diverse countries have already identified the importance for cultural identity to be formalized. This has occurred not only to offer a label of convenience for arts and cultural experiences to be marketed as commodities but also to ensure that the people within the pursuit of culture and arts development might obtain a formal and recognition level that is defined by policy.
