of Western Popular Music
Musicians popularly acquire certain skills or all the skills in an informal or formal manner with the help of a trained teacher in musical instruments. What becomes interesting is the way in which learning takes place. Even after the fact that recently popular western music has made its way into formal education of music, but still there exist limitations with regard to learning practice understanding that most musicians in the western popular music industry adopt. There is also very less understanding on why there are so many musicians that made a choice to not adopt musical education and there is also no information about the way in which popular musicians perceive formal music education. Considering this point of view, the meanings and feelings being expressed in music can be realized by the maintenance of quality when a peculiar production of sound takes place. There is an involvement of a number of different elements of music such as dynamics, tonality, rhythm and so forth allowing researchers to make an attempt to understand the sounds of music (Smith, 2005). In simple words, this point of view can be defined and summarized as organized noise and sound. Music has also been considered as a language for the expression of emotions.
