In order to appeal to the customers, companies need to understand the consumer behaviour of purchasing, and more importantly the consumer information search process. Understanding of such aspects of consumers can assist any hospitality industry business manager in developing, optimizing their products on search engines and to customize the look of the website to better appeal to the customers. Lately, the internet has become the most important tool of gaining information by customers (Zins, 2007). This data statistics goes higher for the consumers in the younger age group and the well-educated buyers (Beritelli, Bieger, &Laesser, 2007). However, more mature and senior consumers still like the good old ways of gaining information through the brochures and it is the best source of information for them (Lin, 2005). At present times, a big share of consumers makes the collection of information search using both online and offline available material. Several surveys have researched on the perception of the travel destinations based on the online information provided by tourism companies (Lin et al., 2006). The psychological behaviour study found that the perception of consumers about finding travel information online is positive and allows them higher amount of information and more visual appeal than the traditional printed brochure.
