The forms of information that the authors present are clearly contradictory to one another and are effective in making an argument on the myths they present. A form of cultural based representation and arguments are presented in the chapter introduction and this form of language makes one understand how education becomes a large part of the making and understanding of one’s culture, almost like a controlling part. There might be some political bias in how the authors write about Native American leaders not accepting education as a form of identity crises. Education needs not to be defined only in one way, and this kind shows a form of narrowing of discussion akin to a biased opinion.
