In the end, the realization of Ourika in the divine God also leaves a mark on the reader. She dies because of the depression of being a black. With the help of her belief in God, she makes peace. She talks to the doctor and feels better for some time, but she dies eventually.

CONCLUSION

Ourika is a tale which leaves us with the question against racing. The blacks and the whites both have the equal rights to live respectfully. The story speaks of a girl who gets all the luxuries of life. Once she gets to know that she is the dejected member of the society she is left into depression. The society should respect each and every individual against race.
