The issue of mediation in the Marxist theory has also been referred to as the issue related to determination, or mainly how the social actors result in navigating the structure of society binding them. As per the theory of Marxism, the key form of mediation is known to be labour that helps in forming a dialectical relationship amongst the nature and body of worker. Thus, labour is known to be mediating between the natural world and the humans (Highmore, 2009). Once this takes place, capital has started to become the determining or mediating factor, with the capitalism helps in setting the rate of wages or the value of exchange between different features of labour. A key theme in the theory of Marxism is the issue of determination or mediation, what value of agency labour has with respect to the forces of determination for a provided culture. However, the notion related to mediation has further been extended in terms of materialism of culture that has been presented by Raymond William. According to William, the particular notion should be connoting a position of social actor with respect to the aspects that are co- determining in the formation of society, or a multitude of limits and pressures that keep changing all the time and are changed in accordance with the social actor(Law, 2012). Within this particular situation, mediation has started to become a process with respect to lived reality, and on the other hand, social actions are not known to be absolutely duped by the ideas of rules being involved incredibly in order to understand and to circulate each and every idea by their own will of the individuals with the expressions (Law, 2012). This is known to be a highly dynamic process related to mediation in comparison with the previous versions, but one has a heavy dependence over an extremely depth theorization related to the notion of hegemony provided by Gramsci.
