创新是企业成长、成功和可持续发展的第一步。创新和创造力使公司能够轻松地适应市场环境的变化。公司采取的一些创新措施是评估创新对工作环境的影响，领导风格和在市场营销环境中以竞争的方式定位的要求。公司所采取的创造性和创新措施对工作环境产生了相当大的影响，甚至文献资料也有助于理解小规模的家族企业如何努力有效地融入这些变化，特别是中国企业(Birdthistle, 2006;舒伯特,2010)。创新对中国企业的影响是本研究的主要主题，它将提供一个机会来理解是什么激励着企业，从而实现企业的创新和创造力的需要。因此，中国企业要想在与国际企业的竞争中取得成功，就必须依靠家族企业。文献对家族企业的理解是，家族企业是指所有的决策权都是通过家族几代人的所有权或领导权来行使的组织(Anderson, Li, Harrison & Robson, 2003)。同样，下面的报告将讨论中国企业所理解的创新问题。报告将分为几个部分，这些部分将确定报告的结构。对数据的分析对研究非常重要，并将以最大的效率进行。报告的最后将讨论该研究报告的作者所提出的建议。研究结果表明，创新和创造性地开展业务可以提高业务绩效，并为业务获得全球认可创造更多机会(Su, Tsang & Peng, 2009)。

Innovation is the foremost step towards the growth, success and sustainability of the firms. Innovation and creativity enables the companies to adapt to the changes in the marketing environment with ease. Some of the innovative measures which the companies adopt are the assessment of the impact of innovation on the work environment, the style of leadership and the requirement of positioning in a competitive manner in the marketing environment. The working environment is considerably impacted by the creativity and innovative steps taken by the company and even literature has contributed to the understanding of how small scale family businesses make efforts to effectively incorporate the changes and in particular, the Chinese businesses (Birdthistle, 2006; Schubert, 2010). The impact that innovation has on the Chinese firms is the main topic of the present study and would provide an opportunity to comprehend what motivates the firms in order to realize the need for innovation and creativity in a firm. Therefore, in order for the Chinese firms to be successful in their effort to compete with the global companies, they rely on the family businesses. As literature perceives family business, it refers to the organization where all the decision making power are exercised by either ownership or leadership through the multiple generations of the family (Anderson, Li, Harrison & Robson, 2003). On the same lines, the following report would discuss the topic of innovation as understood by the Chinese firms. The report would be divided into the sections which would define the structure of the report. The analysis of the data holds great importance for the study and would be done with the utmost efficiency. The end of the report would cover the discussion of the recommendation that is proposed by the author of the study. The results of the study state that doing the business innovatively and creatively enhances the performance of the business and also creates more opportunities for the business to get global recognition (Su, Tsang & Peng, 2009).
The companies adopt myriad ways so as to innovate effectively. The innovation, as opined by scholars, is positively influenced by the factors such as knowledge within the company (Birdthistle, 2006). The word “knowledge” can be interpreted in various ways such as knowledge possessed by the individuals involved in the family business, knowledge of the studies that have been done for the business, knowledge on the setting of the competitive forces and knowledge on the next stage of the innovation process.
Innovation lets the mixing of the ideas of the older generation and the younger generation for the better growth of the business. This is evident when the ideas of the older generation, which have less risk factor, are mixed with the ideas of the younger generation that are more focused and have the contemporary approach. The ideas of the younger generation are fresh ideas which enable the growth of the business. Therefore, these individual ideas both from the older and the younger generation lay emphasis on the fulfilment of the common purposes of the business (Poutziouris, Wang & Chan, 2002).
The workplace culture is also impacted by different facets of innovation and creativity (Chow, 2004). This research would not make the effort to discover the impact of the two concepts on the working of the small scale Chinese businesses. In addition, the different factors which drive the people to think innovatively and creatively is the motivation behind this current study.
