In the recent times, there is tremendous growth. There is cultural integration and increasing focus on productivity. International companies cannot and will not sustain without expanding their horizons into other geographical locations. In this paradigm there is a need for culture focused research (Wachner, 2013). The concept of culture based research has been gaining importance owing to these factors. The concept of national culture in international business research has gained more prominent owing to the model developed by Hofstede model. These helped the people understand the significance of culture and find common grounds towards productivity (Hamilton and Webster, 2015).
In this analysis the international business and trade between China and United States have been considered. The business negotiations between these two nations are growing rapidly and also serving to be a paradigm for other nations to conduct business operations. Hence it has been considered important to understand the business dealings and trade between China and United States.
In the research there is a need to analysis the tangible statistical figures and the intangible cultural differences between the nations. As a starting point to understand the business relations between China and America, the volume of trade and inter-dependence of both these nations for development of trade was analysed.
